Westhaven Homeowner Fees for 2012

The quarterly amount for 2012 is $271.00. According to the by-laws of the community, the Board has the right to increase the dues a maximum of 5% per year without the approval of two-thirds of the community. Any amount over 5%, or the need for a special assessment, must be presented to the community for approval. If additional funds were needed, the homeowners would be informed of the projects that require completion within a certain time frame, and the dollar amount required for the work to be performed.

A Westhaven Homeowners Association coupon book is mailed to homeowners each December, in time to make the January payment. If you do not receive your coupon booklet by December 31, please call Cardinal Management Group. All regular assessment payments should be sent directly to the bank lockbox as addressed on the coupons.

The fees are due and payable on the first day of each quarter: January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1. If fees are not received by the fifteenth day of the month in which they become due, a $30.00 late fee will be added to your account. There is also a $25.00 fee if the bank returns your check. If you wish, you can pay your full assessment in advance. The amount is $1,084.00, and many residents do pay in advance.

Residents are encouraged to sign up for direct debit using the Agreement for Pre-Authorized Payments enrollment form. If you are currently enrolled in Westhaven's direct debit program, rate changes are made automatically.

If you pay your assessments electronically, please ensure that your bank's automatic bill payment amount is correct.

Payments may also be made using a credit card or e-check. To make a payment online, please log onto http://www.cardinalmanagementgroup.com and click "Make Payments". This service is available for a nominal free of $9.95 per credit card transaction and $2.00 per e-check. These rates are subject to change without further notice.

You will not receive reminders, notices of payment due, or statements. You are responsible for remembering to send your fees in on time.
