Board of Directors Meetings
The WHOA Board of Directors meets on the second Thursday of each month. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Thursday, January 10th, at Richard Byrd Library ( 7250 Commerce St, Springfield, VA 22150 ) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In addition - please remember the parking registration for 2019 Visitor Hang tags is due by December 27th.
We have attached the mailing sent in October in case you cannot locate your paperwork here. This includes the mailing, 2019 parking registration, board nomination form and proxy form.
Email Distribution List
The Board of Directors is using an email list as an important additional form of communication with Westhaven's residents and property owners, to facilitate timely distribution of community news. The number of subscribers to the list is growing. If you wish to subscribe, or have questions about the distribution list, please contact board.westhaven@gmail.com. Email sent to this address is forwarded to current Board members only.
Temporary Visitor Parking Pass
If you have a guest visiting for more than a weekend or a few days, you MUST obtain a temporary visitor parking pass for display on the vehicle from our community's management company, GHA Community Management.
NEW Trash Schedule- October 1st 2018
Westhaven schedule is as follows:
Trash Pick Up- Monday & Thursday
Recycle Pick Up- Thursday
Bulk Pick Up- Thursday (up to 2 cubic yards and no more than 50 lbs)
Items should be placed at curbside no earlier than 7pm on the evening before pick up (please secure items to prevent trash blowing throughout the community). Please remove containers from curbside on the evening after pick up.

Recyclables
Recyclable items (i.e., cardboard boxes) WILL NOT be picked up on Monday and American Disposal Services will leave them on the curb until the Thursday pick up, so please do not place cardboard out for the Tuesday pick up. Please also note that in order for cardboard to be picked up on Friday's boxes must be empty and broken down.
Dog Walkers! There are two Pet Stations in Westhaven along Westmore Drive for disposal of pet waste. Please use them, and be sure to carry a bag with you while walking your pet. Pets must be on a leash. These neighborhood requirements are also the law in Fairfax County! To report violators, call the Fairfax County Police Department's Animal Services Division at (703) 691-2131.

New Parking Enforcement In Effect!- Register your vehicles now.
In order to obtain a visitor parking hang tag all vehicles must be registered with Westhaven HOA. Please fill out the Vehicle Registration Form for all vehicles permanently residing at the residence. This form must be filled out in order to receive the visitor hang tag for the property. In order to maintain your Green Permit or maintain your place on the waiting list you must provide registration proof showing 3 vehicles registered to the address in the Westhaven Community.
